UGLY DOLL Cake!!!!!!

I had a special request to do a cake with the theme of Ugly Dolls and I think they're cute and perfect for a boy themed cake! {There are girly colors that would work for a girl themed cake as well!}

Before Decorating! :) I think I've updated my cakes by not rolling them! I think it looks more elegant and I love it!!

My cousin bought 4 Ugly Dolls for the cake!
Blue Topper: Ket
Yellow 2nd Tier: Nandy Bear
Teal Bottom: Babo's Bird
Orange Bottom: Cozymonster!

I made the base out of foam core and covered it with burp cloths from the Mommy-To-Be's registry! I think it's kinda fun and it adds some color to the cake other than the plates I normally use :)

Back side of the cake! The socks and Mr. Nandy bear are a little wonky but it's okay because it goes with the cute theme! <3

Thanks for the order Elainey!!! <3

Pink & Black

I really LOVE this cake! Pink and black is such a simple color pallette but it turned out just how I wanted it to! The gift card holder bear at Babies R Us works FABULOUSLY for cake toppers! It's the perfect size!

I found the CUTEST ballet slipper socks at Gymboree and I couldn't pass them up...I bought a bunch a while ago and they were perfect for the cake!

I also used washcloths to create roses! It's one of my favorite elements to add onto girls (and some boys) cakes! :)

a big black bow with super simple black and pink buttons :)

lastly a summary of everything! :)

Red White & Baby Blue

I couldn't make it to my co-workers baby shower so I brought her cake to work with me!
She had a beautiful baby boy named BLAZE(y Bear!)

Diaper Cake Orange, Navy and Red!

I made this cake in a quickness so I didn't get to take my usual pictures of it :'(

My mom's trainer/friends were having twins! They didn't know what they were having, but since they're trainers at the gym we found the cutest Nike onesies...so I made a cake based of the colors. I wish the orange ribbon around the diapers was more vibrant but I made use of what I had.

Congratulations Danny and Shondra on your new babies! Caprise & Daxton <3

Green and Purple cake!

One of my best clients who orders a lot of different diaper cakes from me is now PREGNANT! So her family wanted to order her one! The color palette is neutral since they don't know what they're having, but I just tried to make this one a little different from the others! I added faux flowers and attempted making roses out of washcloths! I also added charms to the socks (which I had leftover from the favors in a previous post! Thought it was a cute addition). I hope her and her family enjoyed the cake! I had a lot of fun making it :]

final cake!
3 tiers.
122 size 1 diapers
4 pairs of basic white socks
4 basic white washcloths (turned into roses)
6 pacifiers 4 green and 2 purple!
white faux roses & dendrobiums with rhinestones
butt cream, baby powder, hand sanitizer, baby shampoo (add ons)
a plush bear (topper) and a large baby shampoo (inside the cake)

some of the wash cloth roses mixed with the faux flowers :]
my first time attempting the wash cloth roses!
socks, binkies and baby powder!
baby socks filled with tissue paper and tied with a bow/charm
bottom tier bow & button
small detail: lots of ribbon with a large button in the center!
closeup of the washcloth roses and faux flowers :)
you can find this bear at Baby's R Us! It comes with a gift card slot around its neck, but I personalized it to match the cake by putting 2 colored ribbons around its neck and made it into a bow!
